Yogurt is created using a single use, individual serving yogurt cup. Originally paper covered plastic the packaging is transformed in ceramic.  The rest of it's days should be filled with after-lunch coffees or a little mezcal.

 

The base of yogurt is left unglazed and instead, is treated with organic beeswax. This layer of wax seals off the raw ceramic and prevents absorption of any liquids that might stain the base. The beeswax gives the base a tan color and a sweet smell!

 

Heir Ceramics are made by hand. Even though these pieces are created in molds, each is trimmed, cleaned, and glazed uniquely. Some pieces have small imperfections that give quirky character.
