Leite is cast in white earthenware ceramic and glzed in lead-free, matte transparent.
leite
Leite is made using a carton of milk. Originally aluminium covered in paper and plastic, the material is transformed in ceramic. It's new life should be used holding water for when you're thirsty, or displaying one, very special flower.
The base of leite is left unglazed and instead, is treated with organic beeswax. This layer of wax seals off the raw ceramic and prevents absorption of any liquids that might stain the base. The beeswax gives the base a tan color and a sweet smell!
Heir Ceramics are made by hand. Even though these pieces are created in molds, each is trimmed, cleaned, and glazed uniquely. Some pieces have small imperfections that give quirky character.
Hand wash.
