  • Chinet cup is created using a single use decorative plastic cup. Originally plastic, the cup is used to make a plaster mold which, produces this ceramic version.

The base of chinet cup  is left unglazed and instead, is treated with organic beeswax. This layer of wax seals off the raw ceramic and prevents absorption of any liquids that might stain the base. The beeswax gives the base a tan color and a sweet smell!

Heir Ceramics are made by hand. Even though these pieces are created in molds, each is trimmed, cleaned, and glazed uniquely. Some pieces have small imperfections that give quirky character.
